mace vs sword question

Postby Lobo on Sun Sep 06, 2009 2:51 pm

you know how a sword has 2-hit stats and a mace has 3 hit stats.. what are benefits of this if any.. i mean are the 3 hits same as 2 hits.. like 7-7-7 vs 10-10 or? Just curious if templar would be better off choosing mace over sword

Generally the difference is miniscule. Two-hit weapons will hit once for a large amount and once for a smaller amount (for example, a sword may hit for 49 and 5, for a total of 54, which is displayed in a larger number above the two smaller). Three-hit weapons, however, hit once with a large amount and twice for smaller amounts.
The significance in the difference is lost on me, but the difference does exist. =P

An extra 5 is better than nothing.

Do you like sword as your self defense? I will start, I really like sword as my self defense especially the blade is sharp.

well, my friend in-game said that swords are better. i think because of higher damage output. but i haven't confirmed it myself. i haven't used a knight class.
