I dnt wanna tank....I LOVE SWORD AND SHIELDS. 2h never enjoy the pole arms are kool tho.
But would sword and shield glad suck? they would have alot less dps or would it?. would it drop to the temp dps? if so then it seems like u should be a temp...then u GOTTA tank and ugh...<.<

Main thing is. Glads are awsome played 1 in closed beta to like 13 and it was great

when i make my gladiator in live/ob im gunna have sword and shield with me as well as a 2h. Gladiators are dps and ots. if you want to tank go templar if you want to dps and ot go gladiator. im going Gladiator im more of a dps/ot person but if you are planing on going Gladiator for main tank better just to go with Templar

since the skill set will be different for both classes, i think you will still do better dmg and dps as a gladiator even if you use a sword and shield,

I too am planning on becoming a gladiator with a shield in one hand. it seems to me like the hits would be faster, though weaker. I dont think it woud make much difference untill end game. And the shield would compensate for extra defence and coolness!!

I'm stuck between a Gladiator and a Templar

It's a hard choice. If you want to tank, take templar, if you want to DPS take gladiator. If you want both, make 2 characters. you should narrow it down to this way of thinking. You won't be accepted as tank as a gladiator, same goes for dps as templar.

Glads can tank very well, early on. But later on they wont be MTing. I will prolly though.
