I like this Forum and want to see good information available on it, but sometimes it just hasnt been written up yet. I found this article on another site. It provides a lot of great information on SM.

I am almost level 13, and I have no idea when it is better to stick with my trusty Fire Spirit and when I shuold switch and use the Wind Spirit. At level 16, I get that Earth Spirit, so when is it better to use that one?

What should I be doing while the Spirit is tanking? So far all I do is cast my lvl 5 Erosion for the DoT, use the spellbook ...

Anyone can give me more info on this? One of my best friends loves Dot classes from Necros in EQ to Warlock in Wow and figured Spiritmasters would be equivalent. Anyway there is a major problem with SM dots not stacking. Doesn't that limit the need for a SM in either group or raid?

While my main is a Sorcerer, and I feel fairly comfortable playing that class, Spiritmaster is a class that intrigues me. My problem is that I have NEVER played a pet class. I was hoping there was a general guide out there for someone who is not only new to SM, but pets as well.

How does combat typically work? Do you keep the Spirit out all the time? Does the pet gain xp over ...

Will spirits be able to fly yet or not anyone know?

We have Robe of Earth, Robe of Flame, Robe of Cold. They are all self-buffs, and they sound great. Since I only got to lvl 14 during open beta, I only saw Robe of Earth and never had more than one of these spells, otherwise I would know this for myself...

Can you 'wear' multiple 'robes' at the same time, or does applying a new one cancel out the previous one?
